📌 Machine Details – Standing Seam Profiling Machine

 

The standing seam profiling machine is built on a heavy-duty welded steel frame, ensuring rigidity and durability during long hours of continuous operation. The roller stations are precision-machined and heat-treated to form accurate snap lock and clip lock profiles without damaging the surface coating of the metal sheet. Each shaft is mounted on high-precision bearings for smooth rotation and uniform panel forming.

The rollers are made from high-strength Cr12 hardened steel, providing long service life even when forming galvanized steel or aluminum at varying thicknesses. The shaft diameter is typically 50mm, made from solid 45# steel, ensuring strength and resistance to bending during forming.

The machine uses a chain drive transmission system with a powerful 3kW main motor, delivering stable torque and reliable feeding speed between 8 to 12 meters per minute. The control system is available in manual push-button mode or optional PLC touchscreen, allowing programmable cutting length, automatic batch production, and error detection.

The forming base supports quick profile adjustment for switching between snap lock and mechanical seam (clip lock) panel types. A manual or hydraulic cutting unit is positioned at the end to provide clean cuts with no burrs or distortion.
